This 8-day private journey takes you deep into the highlands of Western Sichuan, connecting Siguniang Mountain, Danba, Yajiang, Litang, Daocheng Yading, Xinduqiao and Tagong.
The journey begins with the dramatic snow mountains of Siguniang Mountain before continuing through Danba into the Tibetan-influenced landscapes of Western Sichuan. Travel across the highland roads to Yajiang, visiting Yala Snow Mountain viewpoints, Moshi Park, Guning Village and Yuzixi for a combination of snow mountains, grasslands, distinctive geological landscapes and golden mountain views.
Continue to Shangri-La Town and spend a full day exploring the long route of Yading, including Milk Lake, Five-Color Lake and Yading Village. The journey also incorporates stargazing, a Tibetan family visit and traditional Tibetan dress and dance experiences.
On the return journey, experience mountain sunrise, Daocheng White Pagoda and Rabbit Mountain before continuing through Xinduqiao pastures, Tagong Grassland, Mani Stone City, Muya Monastery, Honghaizi and the scenic Provincial Highway 434 before returning to Chengdu.
