This 8-day journey is designed around the spectacular snow mountains, alpine grasslands and Tibetan landscapes of Western Sichuan. Starting from Chengdu, the route passes through Dujiangyan and the Wolong Panda Base before entering the mountain scenery of Siguniang Mountain, Xinduqiao, Tagong Grassland, Litang and Daocheng Yading.
A full day is reserved for Daocheng Yading, allowing travelers to explore its snow mountains, forests, meadows and alpine lakes without rushing. On the return journey, enjoy sunset views from Yuzixi before continuing to Xinduqiao and eventually returning to Chengdu via Honghaizi.
