Today focuses on Chengdu's rich literary and historical heritage. Visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage, where the famous Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu spent several years of his life, before continuing to Wuhou Shrine to discover the stories and legends of the Three Kingdoms period.
In the afternoon, stroll through Jinli Ancient Street, where traditional architecture, local snacks and lively street scenes create a vivid introduction to Chengdu's historic character.
Today the journey heads into the spectacular landscapes of western Sichuan. Travel through mountain scenery to Huanglong Scenic Area, famous for its remarkable travertine terraces, colorful pools, forests and snow-capped peaks.
After exploring Huanglong, continue to Jiuzhaigou and check in at your hotel near the scenic area, preparing for a full day of exploration the following day.
Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park. Take the official sightseeing shuttle through the scenic area and visit its most iconic landscapes according to the day's operating arrangements.
Highlights include Five Flower Lake, Long Lake, Nuorilang Waterfall and the Shuzheng Valley area, where turquoise lakes, waterfalls, forests and mountain scenery create Jiuzhaigou's famous fairytale-like landscape.
Jiuzhaigou is renowned for the saying, "After seeing Jiuzhaigou, no other water scenery compares." Its lakes boast exceptional clarity and a rich tapestry of colors; sunlight filtering through the forests creates dreamlike blue-green hues on the water's surface.
Five-Flower Lake is one of Jiuzhaigou's most iconic landscapes, its waters displaying a wealth of colors due to underwater calcium deposits, vegetation, and variations in light. Long Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests, offers a more expansive and magnificent view.

After breakfast, travel to Dujiangyan to discover one of the world's most remarkable ancient irrigation systems. Explore its key components, including the Fish Mouth Levee, Feishayan Spillway and Baopingkou, and learn how this extraordinary system has shaped the Chengdu Plain for more than two thousand years.
Later, stroll through Guanxian Ancient Town and enjoy local snacks before visiting Nanqiao Bridge in the evening for beautiful views of Dujiangyan after dark. Return to Chengdu for the night.
